What is the RTD EcoPass Program?
The Regional Transportation District (RTD) EcoPass program is an annual prepaid transit pass that employers purchase for their employees, allowing them unlimited usage of RTD Services. It is the most cost effective RTD program available for business. Take advantage of the 50% Colorado Alternative Transportation Options Tax Credit on the purchase of transit passes for your employees.

The Guaranteed Ride Home program (GRH Program) provides a free taxi ride home from the office for employees who have an emergency arise (whether is a mere unexpected schedule change or a sick child). So, don’t let fear of the unknown keep you from exploring new ways to commute to work. Get out there and find the alternative that works best for you.
RTD EcoPass Employer Pricing
The price of the individual organization/company’s EcoPass contract is based on the following criteria:
- Calendar year. All EcoPass contracts are valid for a single calendar year and expire on December 31.
- Pro-rated rates. RTD will pro-rate EcoPass contracts that begin after January 1. (Contract minimum still applies.)
- Number of employees. The total number of employees listed on your company’s official payroll register.
- Locations. The physical worksite address for your employees, including the availability of transit services near that location.
- Matrix. Program pricing is determined by RTD’s approved pricing matrix, which includes three different Service Level Areas (SLAs).
- Contract minimum. If the per-person rate for your SLA multiplied by your employee count is less than the contract minimum, the contract minimum will apply. EcoPass contracts cannot be issued below this minimum amount.

What if I have no budget for employee transportation programs?
No budget? No problem. Commuting Solutions provides complimentary services to help your organization plan and promote sustainable commuting. We offer education, guidance, and management of programs like My Way to Go at no cost. Unlike programs such as EcoPass or other subsidies that require funding, we can still work with you to create a tailored commute plan for your employees completely free of charge.
What is a Lunch-n-Learn?
Commuting Solutions will develop a customized presentation tailored to your organization and location. Our team will visit your office to share the slide deck, highlight available programs, outline specific commute options, assist with setting up the My Way to Go platform, and provide additional local transit resources.
