US 36 Express Lanes
Cruise past traffic in the US 36 Express Lanes for free! By traveling with three or more people in a single vehicle you are eligible to drive in the Express Lanes for free with the Switchable HOV Pass.
Those who use Carpools and/or vanpools, and are interested in this travel option are required to have an ExpressToll account and Switchable HOV Pass (this device is also referred to as a transponder).
Switchable HOV Pass
Start traveling in the US 36 Express Lanes for free by visiting Expresstoll.com to create your ExpressToll account. Once your account is set-up, the Switchable HOV Pass will be mailed to you in 3-5 business days.
The Switchable HOV Pass allows vehicles with three or more passengers to travel on the US 36 and I-25 Express Lanes for free. When using the HOV Pass as a carpooler, make sure to slide the switch the red ‘HOV’ position so you are not charged a toll.
