Transit group asking riders for feedback

Staff Report, Broomfield Enterprise
August 3, 2016

Commuting Solutions is teaming up with Regional Transportation District (RTD) to thank riders for using transit in their daily commute.

This morning, RTD transit riders will have the opportunity to meet RTD and Commuting Solutions staff at the U.S. 36 and Broomfield Station, located at the intersection of Wadsworth and Arista Place.

Customers have the opportunity to learn about RTD services, including the new rail services opening in 2016, as well as give feedback and suggestions on how to improve service.

The event will take place from 7 to 8:30 a.m. on the eastbound side of the bus slip ramp. Complimentary breakfast snacks will be available as well as RTD route and schedule information. Representatives from RTD Customer Care and RTD Service Planners also will be on hand to answer commuters’ questions. Commuting Solutions and RTD also plan to hold similar events at other station locations throughout the U.S. 36 corridor this summer.

Additionally, Commuting Solutions monthly meeting is Aug. 9.

Attendees can network with U.S. 36 employers and governments, learn about the latest regional transportation plans, and start the day with a cup of coffee and a sense of community.
