Bike to Work Day 2019
June 26, 2019 | 6:30 – 9:00 a.m.
Denver Metro Region
Bike to Work Day is an annual event held on the fourth Wednesday of June to encourage commuters to get out of their cars and on their bikes to commute. It’s an official state holiday – June was even designated Colorado Bike Month.
Riders can map their route and ride by breakfast stations all over the region on their way to work. Commuting Solutions hosts two Breakfast Stations in the Northwest Metro region: one at the RTD US 36 & McCaslin Station in Louisville (Westbound) and one at Interlocken East Park in Broomfield along the US 36 Bikeway.
Bike to Work Day 2018 was on Wednesday, June 27 and it was our most successful year yet. Over 36,000 riders exchanged four wheels for two during the nation’s second largest event of its kind. New and experienced cyclists alike joined in by finding group rides, visiting a breakfast station or an evening party station with one of our many Bike to Work Day station sponsors. Bike to Work Day is a fun way to reduce traffic congestion, improve our air quality and enhance the overall health of our region.
