Highway 36 team ‘challenges’ cyclists to ride

Free Bike 36 Challenge promotes wellness and exercise

June 6, 2016

Nonprofit commuting and transportation organization Commuting Solutions is seeking participants for the upcoming Bike 36 Challenge, running from June 13 through July 8 for businesses along the U.S. Highway 36 corridor.

Bike 36 Challenge is a free competition to encourage workers in businesses along the Highway 36 corridor to spend more time on their bikes — 10 minutes or more at a time — with teams that log the most ride competing for top prizes like movie ticket vouchers, local restaurant vouchers, bike gear and more.

The overall aim is to encourage team participation, but riders logging more miles and more trips will also earn more individual points, providing opportunity for individual prizes.
