It’s time for a joyride!
Bike to Work Day on June 28, 2023
Presented by the Colorado Department of Transportation’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Program, the Federal Highway Administration and the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG)
Bike to Work Day is an annual event organized by Way to Go, a program of the Denver Regional Council of Governments, in partnership with Commuting Solutions and six regional transportation management associations.
Cycling is a healthy and environmentally-friendly way to get where you need to go. We hope that by hosting Bike to Work Day each year, we are helping residents to be more comfortable to make cycling a normal part of their daily commutes. Participating in Bike to Work Day is a great way to show your support for safe, bike-friendly streets. In 2022, more than 11,500 people took part in the event. Join Commuting Solutions, Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG), Way to Go, and cyclists across the Denver northwest metro region for Winter Bike to Work Day!
How it Works
Each Bike to Work Day, we encourage commuters in the Denver region to ride their bike to work, helping commuters save money on their commutes, improve their health and lower stress levels — all while reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality. We especially encourage people who normally drive alone to work to try riding their bike instead!
Three Ways You Can Participate
- Pledge to ride (after April 17)
- Set up a business challenge
- Host a station or sponsor the event. Fill out the 2023 Sponsorship Form.
