Outreach and Marketing Coordinator (Bilingual)

Description

Commuting Solutions is seeking a full-time Outreach and Marketing Coordinator to join its collaborative, dynamic and creative team. This position is responsible for launching and implementing sales initiatives and programs in the northwest metro region for the suite of regional Transportation Demand Management (TDM) program services, as well as providing marketing communications support. The role will support our efforts to offer programs and services to employers of essential and low-wage workers.

Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) TDM Partnership

  • Initiate and conduct meetings with employer prospects and existing members to educate them about TDM services.
  • Schedule and implement community events, employer events and meetings with companies and property managers to promote the regional TDM Program suite of services.
  • Prepare materials and conducts presentations for employers, jurisdictions, and other local organizations.
  • Maintain Salesforce and track activities to meet program performance goals.
  • Spearhead our Workplace Commute Ambassador program by writing quarterly newsletters and organizing and planning agenda for four meetings (in-person and/or virtual).
  • Attend monthly TDM Partnership meetings with DRCOG and other surrounding TMO’s either in person or virtually.
  • Assist in planning the annual Winter Bike to Work Day and Summer Bike to Work Day events.

Regional Transportation District (RTD) Service Contract

  • Create and implement an annual service contract with the RTD by conducting employer and community outreach. Educate employers and employees about transit in the US 36 corridor, CO 119 corridor and surrounding area.
  • Respond to inquiries for transit information from companies, employees, and community members.
  • Plan and implement How to Ride Events and Rider Appreciation events.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Mobilization

  • Maintain customer information in Sales Force CRM to expand the organization’s customer infrastructure
  • Collaborate with other team members to evolve Sales Force for membership recruitment, retention, marketing, employer outreach events.

Marketing Communications

  • Assist with digital marketing efforts including social media planning
  • Interact and engage with social media posts regularly
  • Assist with regular email marketing efforts including building newsletters and gathering materials
  • Maintain email marketing database / contacts
  • Communicate with partners to coordinate newsletter submissions
  • Assist in keeping website up to date
  • Assist in creating visual content for social media and website

Requirements

  • Completion of a bachelor’s degree in planning, marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of sales and/or outreach experience; equivalent combination of applicable education and experience.
  • Previous experience with Sales Force is preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish or another language is desired.
  • Working knowledge in sales, customer service, relationship building, and client prospecting.
  • Familiarity with Transportation Demand Management services is desired.
  • Motivated, self-starter with strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and the ability to communicate professionally with diverse audiences.
  • Available to staff early morning/evening meetings, weekend events, etc.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for business use (mileage is reimbursed).
  • The role requires an ability to load and unload, set up and take down a 10×10 canopy tent, folding table and other event marketing items.
  • Previous experience writing, social media scheduling and posting, website updates, etc.
  • Experience with design applications (Canva, Adobe) preferred.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp) preferred.
