The Flatiron Flyer, RTD’s bus rapid transit (BRT) service, offers commuters a reliable ride every 4 to 15 minutes during peak hours and every 15 minutes off-peak, Monday through Friday. On the weekends, the Flatiron Flyer offers commuters a reliable ride every 15 minutes during peak hours on Saturday and every 30 minutes on Sunday. RTD’s Flatiron Flyer is the first BRT service to connect Denver with the Northwest region’s businesses, federal institutions and the University of Colorado Boulder. Riders have access to downtown Boulder, downtown Denver, the Anschutz Medical Campus, along with connections to Denver International Airport and other parts of the Denver metro area.

2016 Flatiron Flyer fares: $2.60 local one-way and $4.50 regional one-way. Determine your commuting costs with RTD’s fare calculator.

Fast and Frequent Service—All Day

The Flatiron Flyer offers both Express and All-Station service. Express service makes fewer stops between Boulder and Denver, while All-Station service provides service to all six transit stations along US 36. Improvements along US 36—including the US 36 Express Lanes and newly built shoulders that bypass slow-moving traffic—means the Flatiron Flyer will provide more reliable, frequent and predictable service. Passengers can park their cars or bikes at any one of the six transit stations along the route, which features 4,200 parking spaces and over 200 bike racks and lockers.
